The home of Robert and Becky Frazier has been recognized by the Corry Garden Club.

Another garden at the Fraziers’ home features cow-themed decor, for their son who is a dairy farmer.

Passers-by will know what season it is by the front porch duck’s outfit.

The home of Robert and Becky Frazier has been recognized by the Corry Garden Club.

The Garden of the Month honor for September goes to Becky and Robert Frazier on Airport Road in Corry. 

“I received a nomination for them, and after I drove by, I knew they had to have it,” said Corry Garden Club member Melissa Martin. “They have their cute fall decor out, and they dressed their front porch duck up as a pumpkin. They say they dress the duck up for every holiday.”

Passers-by will know what season it is by the front porch duck’s outfit.

According to Martin, Becky was determined to have a garden when the couple moved in 18 years ago.

Gradually, they built garden beds and landscaped around the house, adding a deck and walkway that Robert made. 

The front garden bed is dedicated to their son who is a dairy farmer. There is a cow plant stand, a cow garden flag and the American flag flying behind it.

Becky has a waterfall fountain that was given to her by her co-workers when she retired.

Martin said Becky loves birdhouses as well. She often gets them as presents from family and friends. She calls her backyard a bird oasis.

Though it is late in the season, many flowers are still in bloom at the Fraziers’ home. Catching summer’s last rays are hydrangeas, climbing clematis, black eyed Susans and sedum, among others.

Martin said this is the last month for the Garden of the Month designation, but if anyone is interested in nominating someone, their name will go on the list for next year.
